A rare 1910 Hand Colored Photographic Lithograph print Titled "The Last Word" signed by an American photographer Wallace Nutting in pencil on the mat board. This print is in its original gold-tone painted frame. Wallace Nutting (November 17, 1861 ? July 19, 1941) was an American minister, photographer, artist, and antiquarian, who is most famous for his landscape photos of New England. He also was an accomplished author, lecturer, furniture maker, antiques expert and collector. His atmospheric photographs helped spur the Colonial Revival style. What set Nutting's photographs apart was his masterful technique of hand-coloring each print. This labor-intensive process transformed his photographs into vibrant and evocative works of art, enhancing their aesthetic appeal and making them highly sought after. The photograph is dated 1910.
