Original post-war ceramic chalkware dancing Hawaiian Hula girl figurine made from lightweight plaster and painted in vibrant tropical colors. It depicts a young Hawaiian hula dancer in traditional attire, posed in a hula dance with a ukulele. Standing at 8inches tall this hula girl is connected in the middle with a center spring causing her to hula dance (similar to a bobblehead) when moved or touched on the head. Stamped "Aloha Catalina" along the front and sold to visitors at Catalina Island off the coast of Los Angeles. She is 8" H x 3 W x 2"D Foot damage, please see pictures in the listing. Japan, 1950
