Post-World War II chrome table lighter with striking stepped base with geometric lines and elegant detailing and featuring "Hotel Schwarzer Bock Logde VIP Wiesbaden" along the front and "Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe " along the back. One side of the lighter is adorned with the logo of the Hotel Schwarzer Bock, one of Germany's oldest hotels with a legacy dating back centuries.
The reverse side is engraved with Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), tying it to the American presence in West Germany after World War II.
