Rare New York City custom-made Streamline Art Deco bar solid mahogany by Ganger with brass footrest featuring a hand-etched glass panel depicting a bartender holding a group of beers with old barbershop song titles like "Sweet Adeline" along the edge of the glass. The panel illuminates from behind catching light in the many layers etched into the glass giving an almost 3d effect.
The mahogany bar provides a warm, rich contrast to the etched glass, while the lighting adds a touch of ambiance, making this bar a great centerpiece for any room. Made by a local New York furniture maker for restaurants, bars, and clubs this bar was used for several decades in a NYC hotel before being brought to Los Angeles for home use after WWII.
