Made by Houzex, this brown and green slag ashtray features a spelter metal sculpture of a nude flapper girl smoking a long pipe. This is a great example of early Art Deco design and is reminiscent of the design and quality found in Frankart and Nuart sculptures. The bottom label reads, "Houzex Glass Products. " Additionally, the green slag glass with brown highlights was a trademark of Houzex throughout the 1920s. This tray comes unused and could be used as a ring tray.
