Designed by artist Stanislaus Capeque for Goldschnider, circa 1930, the sculpture presents a traditional Valkyrie from Norse mythology in armor and shield with her trusty horse standing beside her. The statue features a graceful form and beautiful hand-painted surface. Signed "Capeque" along the back of the pedestal.
