This Art Deco nickel plate features the statue of a young flapper smoking a cigarette; the statue is fixed to a black marble base. This is a great example of early Art Deco design and is reminiscent of the design and quality found in Franz Xaver, Pierre Le Faguays and Gustav Schmidt-Cassel. The statue is uniquely designed to blow real smoke as it has an internal pipe system to deliver smoke out of the young dame's lips.
